• Injury-related child death monitoring.
• Respectful bereavement care programs after perinatal and child losses.
• Birth defects surveillance and prevention initiatives.
• Childhood morbidity services and immunization strengthening.
• Development of disease-specific guidelines for common childhood illnesses.
• Quality care standards for children in health facilities.

Primary responsibilities: system improvements, data management, stakeholder collaboration, logistics arrangements for care services, and strengthening child-care delivery through surveillance-identified issues.
