National level planning and coordination of School Dental Services and Oral Healthcare Programme for pregnant mothers.
Objectives and functions:
• Oversee school dental services and oral healthcare for expectant mothers at regional and national levels.
• Handle equipment procurement and distribution for school dental clinics.
• Provide in-service training to dental surgeons, therapists, clinic assistants, and primary healthcare staff.
• Create and distribute educational materials.
• Conduct oral health initiatives targeting preschool educators, school teachers, and community groups.
